STAMP OUT Any Problems NOW

You should be aware by now that the Royal Mail are making some fundamental changes with the addition of barcodes to regular postage stamps. After 31 January 2023, regular stamps without a barcode will no longer be valid. However, do not despair, you can either use up these stamps before the deadline or swap them for the new barcoded ones with the Stamp Swap Out scheme.

So why are stamps changing?

The move is part of Royal Mail’s extensive and ongoing modernisation drive and will allow the unique barcodes to facilitate operational efficiencies, enable the introduction of added security features and pave the way for innovative services for customers.

Many will say that we now live in a world where emails, texts and even social media messaging are the predominant way of communicating, but it remains informal and there are times when postage through Royal Mail and other couriers remains a crucial means of communication. Having a range of stamps at hand for those occasions saves time and hassle, we offer a range of stamps available for delivery with your order. Ask for details.

Franking Machines have also changed.

From the 1st January 2023 Royal Mail will no longer accept mail from customers who use a non-Mailmark franking machine and will only accept mail that has been produced by a Mailmark franking machine. Any franked mail that doesn’t contain a Mailmark barcode will be returned to the sender.
